PROFILE OF PRIESTS ORDAINED ON 1ST SEPTEMBER 2023

Rev. Alexander Addae Ofori, born on March 04, 1994, in Twifo Ampenkro, and his hometown is Ahenema Kokobeng in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He is the sixth of Eight children born to Mr. Kwame Ofori (of blessed memory) and Mrs. Mercy Ackom.
His early education took place at various preparatory schools, including Stoughton International School, Bethel School Complex and Pastor Amponfi Memorial Oneness

International School. He gained admission to St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary, in 2009 proceeded to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom in 2014, and then to St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu to study Theology and Sociology in 2018 and completed in 2023.

On 20th January he was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev. Charles G. Palmer-Buckle at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies include listening to the news, reading and writing, playing football, listening to the radio, listening to music, and cleaning his surroundings.

Rev. Solomon Ankomah was born on the 27th August, 1994 at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana to Mr. Thomas Ankomah and Mad. Sarah Sagoe. He is the second born of five (5) siblings.

He had his Junior High education at Kumasi, St. Cyprian’s Anglican JHS A and completed in 2010.

He gained admission to Methodist Senior High School, Saltpond, for his secondary education and completed in 2013.
He proceeded to St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary, Amisano, for one-year Post Senior High Secondary programme and then to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom, Accra, to study Spirituality, Philosophy and Sociology from 2014 to 2018.
He entered St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu, Cape Coast, in 2018 for his Theological studies.
He was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev. Charles Gabriel PalmerBuckle on 20th of January, 2023 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies are: playing and watching soccer, reading, listening to music and watching movies.

Rev. Francis Ayaric, born on August 27, 1993, in Accra, resides in Agona Swedru, (St. Anthony of Padua Parish) and his hometown is Sandema in the Upper East Region of Ghana. He is the fourth of four children born to Mr. Edmond Ayaric (a retired Chief Inspector) and Mrs. Cecilia Ayaric.
Rev. Francis Ayaric was baptized on June 5, 1999, at Holy Family Parish in Mataheko, Accra, and confirmed on July 9, 2005, at Mankrong,  specifically at St. Anthony’s Parish in labour and are heavy Awutu Bawjaise.
His early education took place at various preparatory schools, including Royal Gospel Preparatory School in Lartebiokorshie, Accra, Bawjaise Preparatory School in Bawjaise, and he completed his basic education at Apam Royal Preparatory School in Apam.

He started his seminary formation at St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary from 2009 to 2014, then proceeded to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom from 2014 to 2018, and then came to St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu to study Theology and Sociology in 2018 and completed in 2023.

On 20th January he was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev. Charles G. Palmer-Buckle at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.

Rev. Andy Wiston Churcher, born on June 20, 1994, in Cape Coast to Mr. Emmanuel Wiston Churcher and Madam Veronica Andoh, is the second of three boys in his family. He received his basic education at Flowers Gay Schools in Cape Coast and later attended St. John Senior High School in Sekondi, where he pursued a four-year Business course.
After high school, he began his seminary formation at St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary, completing a one-year post-SHS program. He then moved to St. Paul’s Seminary in Sowutuom for a one-year Spiritual program, followed by three years of intensive studies in Philosophy and related subjects.
His journey continued at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary in Pedu, where he underwent a five-year priestly formation program alongside theological study.
On January 20, 2023, Rev. Charles G. Palmer Buckle ordained him a Deacon at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Andy has a diverse range of hobbies, including reading, watching movies, swimming, and leisurely walking; reflecting his well-rounded nature and his appreciation for different aspects of life.
Rev. Ignatius Evans Fynn was born on 1st October, 1992 at  Akatakyiwa in the Central Region of Ghana. He is the son of Mr. Ignatius Fynn and Madam Dorcas Fenyi. He is the first child among his siblings.
He completed his basic education at Hariom International School, Saltpond in 2008 He pursued
Business Course at Methodist Senior High School, Saltpond (2009-2013) and proceeded to St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary at Amisano for a one year Post S.H.S programme. In 2014, he gained admission at St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary (Sowutuom-Accra) for one year spiritual programme, and his Philosophical and Sociological studies (2014-2018)
He continued his seminary formation at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary where he studied Theology and completed his Sociological studies. (2018-2023). He was ordained a deacon by Most Rev. Charles G. Palmer-Buckle, on 20th January, 2023 at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies are: reading and playing football.
Rev. Eric Oliver Mensah comes from Blessed Trinity Parish, Breman Asikuma. He is the son of Mr. Benjamin Mensah and Mad. Angela Essilfie. He was born on the 27th May, 1989, at Breman Asikuma. He is the second born of his parents with one other sibling. Currently, he is residing at Breman Asikuma.
He had his basic education at B/ Asikuma Methodist School. He was admitted at Enyan Denkyira Senior High Technical School, Enyan Denkyira. After his secondary education, he proceeded to St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary, Amisano, for a Post SHS programme (2013-2014).
With his ardent desire for the priesthood, he continued his formation at Sowutuom, St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, for Spiritual year programme and Philosophical studies (2014-2018). In 2018, he began his Theological and Sociological studies at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu – Cape Coast.
He was ordained as a deacon by Most Rev. Charles Gabriel PalmerBuckle, Catholic Archbishop of Cape Coast, on 20th January, 2023 at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies are: Reading, Web Surfing, working on computers, listening to radio and music.
Rev. Emmanuel Ofori Inkoom was born on 27th March, 1991 at Ajumako-Ochiso in the Central Region of Ghana. He is the sixth born of seven children. He was born to Mr. Stephen Appah and Mrs. Mary Inkoom.
He had his basic education at Bisease Nazareth Preparatory School and Bisease Catholic School.
In 2009, he attended St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary and after four years, continue in the same Seminary for a one-year Post S.H.S programme.
In 2014, he gained admission to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary (Sowutuom-Accra) for one-yearSpiritual programme, and his Philosophical and Sociological studies.
In 2018, he continued his seminary formation at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary where he studied Theology and completed his Sociological studies.
He was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev. Charles Gabriel PalmerBuckle on January 20, 2023 at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies are: reading, listening to music, playing table tennis and draught.
Rev. Felix Opoku Sefa was born on the 2nd November, 1992 at Jukwa in the Central Region of Ghana to Mr. Yaw Sefa and Madam Elizabeth Odoom. He is the last born child of four siblings.
He completed Basic Education at Swedru Catholic ‘A’ J.H.S in 2009. He gained admission to Swedru Senior High School for his S.H.S education from 2009 – 2013.

In August 2013, he proceeded to St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary, Amisano for a one-year Post S.H.S program. From 2014 – 2018, he had a oneyear Spirituality program and 3 years philosophical studies at St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom – Accra. He continued his formation at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu – Cape Coast from 2018 – 2023 for his

Theological Studies which included a year Pastoral Program outside campus.
He was ordained a Deacon by Most. Rev. Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle on 20th of January, 2023 at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies are singing, listening to music and swimming.
Rev. John Tseko Otoo, born on October 8, 1991, in Cape Coast, resides in Woraba, an outstation of Moree He is the first of four children born to Mr. Michael Kwodwo Otoo and Mrs. Sarah Otoo.
Rev. John Tseko Otoo was baptized on December 21, 1991, at St. Joseph Church – Wusorkrom and confirmed by His. E. Cardinal Peter K. Appiah Turkson on December 11, 2005, at St. Peter Church – Assin Kruwa, under St. Edward parish, Abura Dunkwa.
His early education took place at Good Shepherd Preparatory School in Abura Dunkwa, Mfantsepim School in Cape Coast, and Asebu D\A school in Asebu where he completed his basic education.
He started his seminary formation in 2007 at St. Teresa’s minor Seminary, proceeded to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom in 2014, and then came to St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu to study Theology and Sociological studies from 2018 and completed in 2023.
