Rev. Michael Abbiw Doughan was born to Mr. Isaac Doughan and Mrs.
Mary Anderson Doughan on the 25th day of May in Senya Beraku,
in the Central Region of Ghana. He completed Catholic Basic School,
Senya Beraku and gain admission to St. Teresa’s Seminary and completed
in 2011. He went for a one-year Post S.H.S programme at
the same institution. In 2015, he gained admission at St.
Paul’s Catholic Seminary (Sowutuom Accra) for one-year Spiritual
programme, and his Philosophical and Sociological studies.
In 2019, he continued his seminary formation at St. Peter’s Regional
Seminary where he studied Theology and completed his Sociological studies.
He was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev. Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle
on January 24, 2024, at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
His hobbies are: reading, visiting, listening to music, singing, creating
stories, and exploring nature.
Rev. Francis Aidoo Junior was born on 6th September, 1994 at Breman
Asikuma in the Central Region of Ghana to Mr. Francis Aidoo Senior
(of blessed Memory) and Mad. Eunice Okai. He is the third born of four siblings.
He was baptised on 25th December, 1995 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Breman Asikuma
and confirmed on 11th August, 2007 by His Eminence Peter Cardinal Kodwo Appiah Turkson at St. Andrew
Catholic Church, Breman Anhwiam. He had his basic education at Mount
Sinai International School at Breman Asikuma and completed in 2010.
He gained admission to St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary, Amisano in 2010
and completed in 2015. From 2015- 2019, he had his Philosophical studies at St. Paul’s Major Seminary,
Sowutuom-Accra.
In 2019, his journey of priestly formation took him to St. Peter’s
Regional Seminary, Pedu to study Theology and completed in 2024.
On 24th January, 2024, he was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev.
Charles G. Palmer Buckle at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape
Coast.
His hobbies are reading, listening to news and music, playing football
and keeping his environment clean.
Rev. Victorious Asamoah-Nyarkoh was born on July 28, 1994, in Assin
Asempanaye to Mr. Joseph Asamoah and Madam Martha Ofori. He is the
sixth child in his family. He completed his basic education at St. Anthony
Catholic School in 2009 and later attended Assin North Senior High,
where he studied General Arts, finishing in 2013.
After high school, he pursued his dream of becoming a Catholic priest,
starting with a post-SHS program at St. Teresa’s Minor Seminary from
2012 – 2013. He then studied at St. Paul’s Major Seminary in Sowutuom
for one year of spirituality and three by three years of Philosophy and
Sociology, completing 2018. From 2018 to 2023, he continued his
priestly formation and theological studies at St. Peter’s Regional
Seminary in Pedu.
On January 24, 2024, Rev. Victorious was ordained a deacon, by Most
Rev. Charles Palmer-Buckle at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Cape
Coast.
He is known to be sociable, respectful, hardworking, creative, and
prayerful. His hobbies include reading, soccer, singing, playing the
trumpet, listening to music, and decorating.
Rev. Joseph Yaw Asante-Frimpong
was born on 20th February, 1992.
He is a native of Agona Swedru in
the Central Region of Ghana. His
parents are Charles Oppong Asanteand Georgina Baah. He is the sixth
of seven siblings. He had his basic education at Swedru
Catholic ‘B’ School from 1995 to 2007. He pursued his secondary and
post secondary education at the St. Teresa’s Seminary – Amisano, Elmina
from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, he proceeded to the St. Paul’s Catholic
Seminary, Sowutuom – Accra to study Spirituality and Philosophy and he
completed in 2016. Again, in 2016, he entered St. Peter’s Regional
Seminary, Pedu, Cape Coast to study Theology and completed in
2021. In the 2021-2022 academic year, he studied at the University
of Education, Winneba (UEW) and graduated with a Post Graduate
Diploma in Education (PGDE) in August, 2023.
On the Memorial of St. Francis de Sales, Wednesday, 24th January,
2024, he was ordained a Catholic Deacon by Most Rev. Charles
Gabriel Palmer-Buckle at the St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape
Coast.
He enjoys playing and watching football and reading.
Christian Asare is a native of Winneba
but currently resides in Dankwakrom.
Son of George Asare (of blessed
memory) and Gladys Fosu, Christian
was born on 25th December 1990.
His educational journey began at
Dankwakrom Basic School, followed
by Jameso Nkwanta Junior High School.
His pursuit of higher learning led him to Diaso Senior High School.
After high school, he began his seminary formation at St. Teresa’s
Minor Seminary where he completed one year Post SHS programme in
2015. He continued his formation at Sowutuom, St. Paul’s Catholic
Seminary, for Spiritual year programme, Sociological and Philosophical
studies from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, he began his Theological studies
at St. Peter’s Regional Seminary, Pedu – Cape Coast.
He was ordained as a deacon by Most Rev. Charles Gabriel PalmerBuckle, on 24th January, 2024at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, Cape Coast.
Christian finds solace and enjoyment in reading and listening to music.
Rev Andrew Kofi Hagan was
born on 31st December 1993 at
Abandze to Mr Albert Hagan and
Mrs Rita Hagan. He is the sixth
born of seven children of Mr and
Mrs Hagan.
He had his basic education at
Abandze Methodist “B” school
and completed in 2010. He
gained admission to begin his
seminary formation at St Teresa’s
Minor Seminary, Amisano from
2010 to 2015. From 2015 to
2019, he offered Philosophy and
Sociology at St Paul’s Catholic
Seminary, Sowutuom – Accra. He
was admitted to offer theology
at St Peter’s Regional Seminary,
Pedu – Cape Coast from 2019 to
2024
On 24th January 2024, he was
ordained a deacon by Most Rev
Charles Gabriel Palmer-Buckle
at St Francis de Sales Cathedral,
Cape Coast .
He loves reading, gardening,
sight seeing/nature exploration
and computer literacy
Rev. Samuel Kwarteng was born to
Mr. Joseph Kwarteng and Mrs. Mary
Ackon Kwarteng on 27th March,
1993 at Maudaso, Upper Denkyira
District in the Central Region of
Ghana . He is the fourth born of five
siblings.
On 30th May 1999 he received the
sacrament of baptism at St Alphonsus
Catholic Church, Maudaso. On
22nd March, 2009 he received the
sacrament of confirmation at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church, Akweley
by Most. Rev Mathias Kwabena
Nketsiah.
His basic education began from Alajo 1&2, Alajo, through Accra New
Town Experimental to St. Mary’s Anglican School, Akweley where
he completed in 2010. In that same year he gained admission to
St.Teresa’s Minor Seminary, Amisano and completed in 2015 where
he began his journey to priestly formation, years of discernment and
spiritual growth. He then proceeded to St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary,
Sowutuom where he undertook his philosophical studies from 2015
to 2019. In 2019, he proceeded to St. Peter’s Regional Seminary,
Pedu where he received theological studies and personal spiritual
development.
On 24th January, 2024, he was ordained a Deacon by Most Rev.
Charles G. Palmer-Buckle at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, Cape
Coast.
